What you receive
Your order arrives in two shipments.
First, the kit to take the paw print with no ink on their paw. In an envelope: one inked sheet, two identical cards and the instructions.
There is ink — it is what gives the dense black and every ridge — but it sits on the underside. Their paw only touches the protective film on top. You press, you lift, and the print appears on the card. The paw comes out as clean as it went in.
You can take more than one print: both paws, the nose. You have two cards and you can use both.
Then, your PETJA. You send us a photo of the paw print. We reproduce it at actual size and apply the gold foil by hand, onto 180 g paper. We mount it in its frame and it arrives in its box, ready to hang. There is nothing else for you to do.
Materials and sizes
Choose between two sizes:
✦ Small — 13 × 18 cm print, 15 × 20 cm frame.
✦ Large — 21 × 30 cm print, 23 × 32 cm frame.
Both carry gold foil applied by hand onto premium 180 g paper, in white or black, and the frame can be black or white.
The gold foil is transferred with heat, sheet by sheet. It is not printed ink: that is why it changes with the light, and why no two pieces are exactly alike.
A dry cloth is enough to care for it. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to protect the foil.

Timing and shipping
The piece is made from their paw print, not from a drawing. That is why it arrives in two shipments.
First, the kit — it leaves the next business day, with the instructions inside.
After that, there is no rush on your side. You take the print whenever you want, tomorrow or in three weeks, and send us a photo through Mi PETJA. The order waits.
When we receive the photo and confirm it works, we make the print, frame it and send it in its box within 1–2 business days.

What if the print doesn't come out right the first time?
The kit comes with two identical cards, so you can try again. If something isn't quite working, write to us before you use the second one and we'll look at it with you.
And if the finished print arrives with a fault on our side, we remake it at no cost.
What if it doesn't win me over when it arrives?
You have our word. When your print arrives, if it doesn't move you when you open it, write to us at hola@petja.es within 14 days and tell us what didn't work. Usually we can adjust it and remake it at no cost. And if you're still not satisfied, we refund you in full; we cover the return shipping.
Can I put several paw prints in the same piece?
Yes, and it costs no more. One card fits in the small size. Two fit in the large one, side by side, with both names: it works for several prints of the same animal or for two different companions.
Will their paw get stained with ink?
No. The kit uses non-toxic ink, and it sits on the underside of the sheet anyway: their paw only touches the protective film on top. You press, you lift, and the print appears on the card with every ridge.
Does it work for cats and small dogs?
Yes. The kit works with any pad size, from a cat or a puppy to a large dog.
Can I create a PETJA for a companion who is no longer here?
Yes. If you kept their paw print on paper, choose the “With your paw print” option: all we need is a photograph. PETJA is made just as much for the bonds you are still living as for the ones you already keep.
How long does it take to arrive?
The kit leaves the next business day. Your PETJA, already framed, is sent within 1–2 business days of us receiving the photo of the paw print, so you set the pace.
Can I give it as a gift?
Yes. Enter the address of the person receiving it and the kit arrives to them first. The order number is written by hand inside: with it they upload the paw print from Mi PETJA, without needing your account. They choose the name and the line of text. Then their PETJA arrives, already framed, in its box.
Do you make it in silver?
Our finish is gold foil. If you would prefer silver, write to us before buying and we’ll look into it with you.
