If you already have their paw print on paper
Yes, if you already have their paw print on paper.
Perhaps a clinic gave it to you, perhaps you have kept it for years, perhaps you took it yourself at home. However it reached you: if you have it, this is your option.
We work from a photograph. There is no need to send us the original paper: it stays with you, which is where it belongs. If there is more than one print on the card, we reproduce them all.
If you do not have the paw print yet, choose the option that includes the kit to take it at home.
Materials and sizes
Choose between two sizes:
✦ Small — 13 × 18 cm print, 15 × 20 cm frame.
✦ Large — 21 × 30 cm print, 23 × 32 cm frame.
Both carry gold foil applied by hand onto premium 180 g paper, in white or black, and the frame can be black or white.
The gold foil is transferred with heat, sheet by sheet. It is not printed ink: that is why it changes with the light, and why no two pieces are exactly alike.
A dry cloth is enough to care for it. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to protect the foil.

We review every image before making anything. If it will not work, we write to you before starting and refund your money.

How to take the photograph
You need nothing special, just a little care:
✦ Natural light, near a window. Avoid direct sun and flash.
✦ From above, with the phone parallel to the paper, not at an angle.
✦ No shadows across it: move your hand and body out of the light.
✦ The whole card, without cropping the edges. That is what gives us the true scale. If you have more than one card, photograph each of them.
If the print has smudges, marks from the paper, or did not come out perfectly, do not discard it. We work on the image before applying the foil and clean away anything that is not part of the paw print.
Timing and shipping
There is no rush on your side.
You can upload the photograph the same day or let weeks pass. Your order waits for you.
When we receive the image through Mi PETJA and confirm it works, we make the piece, frame it and send it within 1–2 business days.

What people usually ask us
The print didn’t come out perfect. Does it still work?
Almost always, yes. We work on the image before applying the foil: we clean away smudges and marks from the paper that are not part of the print, keeping its real shape. If we see there isn't enough definition, we write to you before making anything.
And if the finished print arrives with a fault on our side, we remake it at no cost.
What if it doesn't win me over when it arrives?
You have our word. When your print arrives, if it doesn't move you when you open it, write to us at hola@petja.es within 14 days and tell us what didn't work. Usually we can adjust it and remake it at no cost. And if you're still not satisfied, we refund you in full; we cover the return shipping.
Do I have to send you the original paper?
No. Just a photograph taken with your phone. The original stays with you, which is where it belongs.
My paw print is in clay or another material. Does it work?
Write to us before buying and we’ll look at it together. It depends a lot on the definition and contrast of the piece.
How long does it take?
1–2 business days from when we receive the photo and confirm it works. Not from the order: you start the clock when you upload the image.
Can I put several paw prints in the same piece?
Yes, and it costs no more. We reproduce the prints at actual size, so how many fit depends on the size of your animal: for a small dog or a cat, both paws and the nose usually fit even in the small size; for a large dog, one print fills the small one, and if you want more you need the large frame.
You have two cards and you can use both sides, so take as many as you like.
Can I give it as a gift?
Yes. You upload the photo of the paw print and enter the address of the person receiving it: the piece arrives finished and mounted in its frame, with nothing for them to do. You choose the name, the date and the line of text when you upload the image.
Do you make it in silver?
Our finish is gold foil. If you would prefer silver, write to us before buying and we’ll look into it with you.
